Pestar began operating over thirty years ago in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Known then as Whitco Pest Control, it became one of the fastest growing pest control companies in the state by expanding its coverage to include all Albemarle areas, Greenville, Elizabeth City, Williamston, Outer Banks, Washington North Carolina and Chesapeake Virginia.
Over the years our company has adopted certain principles, made contributions, and earned achievements that make our company unique. Here's a few we think you'll find helpful in choosing help for your particular pest problem:
- Pestar does not hire people who are exclusively sales people. Many companies do but we'd rather our employees be most concerned with helping solve a problem, not making a sale.

- In over thirty years of operating we've had zero Better Business Bureau complaints. So, when a rare complaint is received, we handle it promptly and fairly.
